HostGator Offers Business Hosting Customers Toll Free Numbers

Web hosting provider HostGator has announced that customers who purchase its business hosting plans will be given toll-free numbers at no extra cost.

The Business Plan, which is HostGator's flagship shared hosting offering, allows customers to host unlimited Web sites. It also includes a free private SSL certificate, dedicated IP address as well as unlimited disk space and bandwidth.
Chad Bean, HostGator marketing director pointed out that companies offering a toll-free number on their Web site improved conversion rates and established themselves as trustworthy to their site’s visitors.
Bean added that HostGator’s free add-on of toll free numbers would give their Web hosting customers a competitive edge over other companies, thus helping business customers to further grow their businesses.
Explaining how it worked, officials said each toll-free number would include 100 minutes of free usage per calendar month. Each additional minute would be charged at 4.9 cents per minute.
The toll-free numbers can be directed to any existing phone number in the U.S. and Canada. Officials also added that customers had the option to update the destination number as well as view their toll-free number's call history in real-time.
Stating that HostGator had a tradition of setting industry standards, Brent Oxley, HostGator's founder and CEO said that that the toll-free number provided at no charge would complement the existing offerings of free SSL certificate and dedicated IP address already given to customers of the Business hosting plan.
Company sources added that the toll-free service is managed and provided by Houston-based Voice over IP provider VOIPo. Founded in 2006, VOIPo provides a wide range of telecommunications services including toll-free numbers, residential VoIP services and SIP trunking.
